The 600 ft. stretch of road was continually sinking into the soft, peat subgrade, costing the township substantially to try to maintain a grade on the road. |

A woven geo fabric was put in place and then capped with a minimum of 18-24" of cover material. |

Side slopes are covered with borrow that came from the immediate area. Tire chips weigh about 1/3 as much as sand, greatly reducing settling into the underlying soils. |
